SUPERINTENDENT 

Joliet Public Schools District 86  

The Board of School Inspectors of Joliet Public Schools District 86 seeks an outstanding educational leader to assume the role of Superintendent for an outstanding school district in Illinois.

With a commitment to excellence, District 86 consists of 20 schools, serves approximately 9,500 students, and is supported by a District budget of over 200 million.  The community takes great pride in its schools and the district provides a well-rounded educational program to meet the needs of 21st century learners.

A regionally competitive salary range between $235,000 - $265,000  and benefits package will be offered. Applications accepted through October 1, 2026. The new Superintendent will assume duties on or before July 1, 2027.
